Head first is not the way I taught her to go down the hill, but she likes to do things her own way.

    If I sent my kids outside to sled right now, they would die the death of a thousand cuts, so sharp is our ice-crusted snirt (snow+dirt).

    We need a fresh coating! If it's going to be -11, we should at least have something fun to show for it!

    And I didn't teach mine to intentionally run into things when they go sledding -- like fences and bushes -- but they do it anyway.
