We've done it a couple of times and the kids love it! It's a different experience every time, depending on what the animals feel like doing. You were lucky that you got so many animals to come up close.
We've had monkeys on the car, which was a huge hit with the boys, as well as giraffs trying to poke their heads in! :)
Seriously?! I don't know that I've ever even HEARD of this!!! You Americans have all the fun! ;) Looks like a truly wild time and something I'm sure our family would really enjoy, too.
That is soooo funny! I swear that picture of the buffalo-looking thing is the one I took! It looks exactly the same. Weird. I'll e-mail it to you. Were you in the Dells or Sandusky?

How fun! I did something similar in Scotland once, but had no idea there was one around here!
I'm dying to go to Chicago soon. (I'd love to go at Thanksgiving if I could find a cheap hotel!)
Where was that zoo?
I did this once as a kid and remember thinking it was pretty cool. The horns on some of those animals kinda scare me! :)
Looks pretty cool! My daughter would love it. Where is the zoo? I also live in the Northwest Suburbs.
Here is the website for the zoo:

Sorry I can't get it to link directly. It is in Port Clinton, Ohio, near Cedar Point.

WHOA! Was this in your area? Those pictures are really something, wow!
I can't figure out if my kids would love it or hate it!
Oh, I see your location answer! Thank you!
I tagged you for this Meme, 5 interesting things!
Hey Lisa,
I see they made it to the drive thru zoo, that is great! I hope they really enjoyed it.
Great pictures of your son feeding the animals.

Now I know where all that slobber came from when I was sitting in your vehicle! I may have left a few smudges myself on Friday night!!!
