All of the beautiful homes have wore me out

I must take a break today from the blog world. Because, as much as I love visiting all my blogging friends, I have things to do. And it's not sit on the couch and visit 55 bloggy home tours.

After touring some beautiful homes yesterday, and finding some great new blogs to read, I must get off the couch and venture out into the world.

I was thinking about going out and starting my Christmas shopping.

I kid, I kid. Of course I've started.

I ordered two gifts online yesterday.

Today, I must hit the Toys R Us. And the mall. And while I'm there, the great Mexican place in the food court at the mall.

It's a marathon, not a sprint, people.

What is this "world" you speak of?

;-)

(Good luck at the mall! I went last week to exchange an early Christmas gift, and I almost committed hari-kari before I left. It was BAD!)

Loved your decorations! But, Christmas shopping, now, today? This would totally stress me out, I can't shop during the Christmas season, it puts on way too much pressure, I know people enjoy it, but I don't understand! Happy Christmas shopping, hope it all goes well and you find all you are searching for and more so I hope you enjoy your mexican restaurant!!

This time of year, I'm very happy there isn't a mall anywhere in sight! I'm not a fan of shopping under the best conditions, but at Christmas? You couldn't pay me enough to go shopping at a mall. I love it that on the busiest shopping day of the year out here in my little town, it's still possible to find a parking spot right in front of the store! And a line-up at the cashier means I have to wait for maybe 2 other people. Good luck with your shopping!

Your right it is a marathon, but this year the start was a sprint. I went shopping with my sister-in-law this year the day after Thanksgiving. I got most of it done that day, but a few things I couldn't find. I found the best time of day seems to be the middle of the day when all are at work. Too bad I'm one that's at work during the prime time. Thanks for posting though, love to hear that some things are the same all over and some are completely different. Karen

Wear comfortable shoes and pack Emergency Chocolate. You'll be okay.

Alas, sometimes the real world gets rather impatient doesn't it? Good luck with your shopping--and enjoy that Mexican food (I usually plan things around certain restaurants too).

You are so brave. I hope the mall was not too bad. It might be worth it for mexican food.

I know, but I would rather blog than do any more shopping, and I love to shop. Good luck on getting it all together!

LOL!!! Okay, so we guess we should wander off blogland onto online shopping land, but only for a moment though! Really, we have to check out all the fabulous homes, and of course, break for a good diet coke...and perhaps a snack...mmmm... you mentioned something about a yummy Mexican food place?

blessings,
kari & kijsa

MMM. Mexican food sounds good right about now. Which is scary, since it's only 10:51 a.m. I think it's going to be one of those days . . . .
